Summary/Abstract: As it is obvious from the title, the paper “France-Amérique: une relation linguistico-culturelle ambiguë”: “américanisation et antiaméricanisme” has as major approach the issue of the Franco-American cultural relations. It deals on the one hand with the fascination of the American model upon a large part of the French people (especially the teenagers and youth) and on the other hand, it deals with the more virulent reaction, against globalisation and the even through state policies. The paper also aims to answer the question: “To what extent can one speak of a French “anti-Americanism?”.
