Summary/Abstract: In one tact of a Bulgarian folk dance often players perform leg crossing and lateral rotation of the body. Due to the specifics of the Kinect sensor, part of these movements obstruct one another. As a consequence of this disadvantage obtaining accurate data on the dynamics of the different parts of the dancer's body is almost impossible. This study proposes an approach to compensate the motion capture problem through the use of an additional Kinect sensor. It also performs a comparative analysis of captured movements when using one and two Kinect sensors.
