Transformational leadership, hope and optimism in high performance organizations

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of the research on the influence of transformational leadership, hope and optimism on achieving high organizational performance. The research model has been based on Positive Organizational Scholarship and High Performance Organization notion. The research has been conducted in two stages, in the first one the group of high performing organizations has been recognized using Data Envelopment Analysis, in the second the detailed antecedents of high performance have been investigated using qualitative research methods.
