Summary/Abstract: Hotamış is located on the Hotamış Plain, which forms the Konya plain in the Central Anatolia region; It is within the borders of Karapınar County, Konya City; It is located twenty-three kilometres southwest of Karapinar and on the Karapinar-Karaman road. Hotamış hosts the Turkmens who are the member of Begdili and Avsar Clans mentioned in Oghuznama tradition. Begdili is shown as one of the clans which created the Ruler in the Reşideddin Oghuznama. Our study is about the lead pouring ritual made by Fadime Uğuz, who is the member of Begdili Clan living in Hotamış. Ritual is carried out by salt. Compilation was created by interview and semi-structured interview methods; and supported by photos. It is understood that the ritual and materials used in the ritual bear the traces of the Old Turkish Kamlık tradition.
