Summary/Abstract: The article presents the analysis of persuasive texts produced in different codes. The way of analysis of this texts is the same, independently of used code. Verbal, visual and verbal-visual texts, if they got to influence recipients attitudes or behaviour, need to use discourse knowledge and ability of standardization of arguments. Discourse knowledge is necessary to interpret and understand message. It allows to evoke general background and particular situation, so to set out communicative situation, in which each persuasion is embed. It also gives an area, which general rules refer to. Standardization of arguments allows to define the persuasion aim.
