Summary/Abstract: Civil-military cooperation plays an important role in the whole spectrum of operations carried out by NATO. It contributes to the establishment of a stable environment in which the mission can be accomplished more easily. Indeed, a multinational force may be at least partially dependent on civilian actors in terms of resources and information and to support the civil authorities for security in certain areas. Sometimes it can be difficult to gain complete freedom of action and movement of forces without cooperation with civilian actors.The article presents the objectives CIMIC, civil-military cooperation activities by delimiting analyzes lead levels multinational joint operations. To achieve the purpose of Article I present the big picture of management civil-military cooperation in the Romanian Army and the conclusion will focus on CIMIC NATO command structure.
