Summary/Abstract: The creation, organization and functioning of the association, as legal subject are regulated by Law no. 26/2000. According to this legal document the association is the legal subject consisting of at least three persons who give their consent in order to affect their knowledge, material contribution and work, in order to realize a public interest activity. The association becomes a legal person when it is subscribed in the Registry of associations and foundations, kept by the Court which has legal jurisdiction according to the headquarters of the association. The functioning of the association is realized through its organs, the General Assembly, the Conducting Committee and the Controller. The association can be declared as a public good association if it fulfills some special conditions.
