Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to identify what the Western World should have learned, in the years after 9/10, about its enemy (i.e., the jihadism) and about itself. The author formulates 15 lessons, clustering them under three headings: Understanding the Enemy. Reconceiving Realism and Deserving Victory.
