Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to show the specificity of behaviors in the tourism market of the youngest generation of Poles, i.e. generation Z. Based on the literature the characteristic features of this group were listed and then, in the empirical part, based on the information from the research into tourist traffic in Krakow in 2017, the five hypotheses were verified. The obtained results allow conclusion that the net generation in a larger percentage use social media and ask their friends for an opinion while acquiring information on the destination, prepare a trip on their own, travel by train, in the company of their friends and to their friends, and, what is most surprising, are more loyal to the tourism reception area than other participants of the national tourist traffic.
