The problem of the Romanians' relations with the Archdiocese of Ohrid. Considerations on the basic bibliography

Summary/Abstract: In the micro-study entitled: „The Problem of the Relations of the Romanians with the Ohrid Archbishopric. Considerations regarding the essential bibliography”, the author presents chronologically the main contributions of both Romanian and foreign specialists who, in their research, mention this disputed subject. The respective studies are accompanied by the reflections of the commentator (V. Muntean). In the end he concludes that it is necessary to take into consideration objectively both the arguments and the counterarguments, especially because in our time two studies – having totally different points of view – are being published. Moreover, two novel communications from 1947 of the regretted historian Alexandru Elian, which deal with the same topic, will be soon printed so that they could be also useful to the researchers interested in the medieval period.
