Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to add meanings to the already existing analyses of selected autobiographical- fictitious texts by Helena Deutsch. The awareness of the textual character of both discourses: psychoanalysis and autobiography prompted the author of Confrontations with Myself to play some kind of a game with the reconstructing the autobiography recipient The representations of the subject only confirm that the latter is not so much being reconstructed in the story as created over and over, between the standards of truth and fiction, the desire and fulfillment. Codenaming of senses develops this absorbing family affair which Deutsch’s autobiography as well as the accompanying it texts are, in a difficult to stop rotary movement of tropes, suppositions and hypotheses.
