Summary/Abstract: The article applies representations of mobility and immobility in Miasto Archipelag written by Filip Springer. The book is record of a reporter’s trip to the polish former provincial cities. The issue of displacement is considered in three perspectives: move as a narrative dominant; as deterritorialization and reterritorialization of place and as domain of urban activity.
