Summary/Abstract: Starting from what was stated in an article by G. Bertoni, a disciple of Arturo Graf, this study aims to check the real correspondence between the lyrics of the Italian poet and Mihai Eminescu’s work. The study will present the scientific and literary figure of A. Graf, his connections with the city of Brăila and with Romanian culture in general, and his first forays into fantastic literature, with a view to underlining the coincidences and contact points with Eminescu’s work.
