Summary/Abstract: Our diaspora has personalities that, in the new season after the 1989 Revolution, deserve to communicate with the country, since their ties with the motherland have been broken for years due to very well-known reasons. Hence, the need to have a dialogue with the anesthesiologist from Freiburg, who impressed me with his tolstoyan beard, and to paint the portrait of a man worthwhile to be known by the readers of Sibiu, those across the country, and the communities of our fellow countrymen from all over the world.
