Summary/Abstract: Fake news affects our everyday life more than we think or are willing to admit. Articles, images and videos uploaded online reinforce some of our beliefs (especially the radical ones) and prompt us to react impulsively, sometimes without the slightest intent to check and evaluate how truthful the content is or how credible the sources and origin of the information received. We share online content because it leaves an impression with us and, sometimes, this very action makes us complicit in spreading misinformation.
