Summary/Abstract: The presented pieces were discovered in partially destroyed archaeological sites or in sites where the exploration could not be continued. 1. Elements composing a breastplate (armour) of the lorica squamata type and segments from the ornament of a rectangular scutum; 2. A fragment from a terra sigillata bowl which still shows the partial image of a gladiator; 3. Fragments from a ram-shaped bowl (Tiergefäss) which illustrates the animal as standing; 4. A reconsideration of the ideas concerning a human head shaped vessel (Kopfgefäss). The one who published it – I.T. Dragomir – claimed the vessel illustrated the head of a maenad and that it came from a North African workshop. We argue that the little recipient in the shape of a kantharos illustrates Troilos and that the officina where it was built is situated in Asia Minor. The same origin (Asia Minor) is revealed for the animal shaped vessel and for other marble materials or ceramic products discovered in Barboşi-Galaţi.
