Summary/Abstract: Old age is the last stage of a person's life. The aging process depends on biological and environmental conditions. The immediate family for an elderly person is an important reference of emotional and social life. Intergenerational bonds in contemporary families are shaken. The elderly assess the relations and emotional ties in the family community more critically than the surveyed parents. Seniors expect support and kindness as well as love and dialogue from their procreation family.
