The nature of the European Union

Summary/Abstract: The most delicate situations regarding the EU are those linked to its juridical nature. Defining the nature of the EU is difficult, being hard to choose among the categories of the international public law and those of the constitutional law. This reality has lead to the promotion of certain sui generis solutions which answer the particularity of community building. This is a hybrid political-juridical product, which can be labelled as „unidentified political object”.
