Summary/Abstract: Committing a crime entails bringing to justice those guilty of that or done so. But application of sanctions and, in particular, custodial sentences to persons who have committed crimes be subject to the conditions required by law including those relating to age of the offender. Age to which a penalty for committing a crime, is still for many specialists as a controversial issue, especially under current conditions they are being adopted a new Criminal Code provisions, but taking into account the laws of European Union too.
