TVR Craiova and the process of harmonizing the regional and European principles

Summary/Abstract: TVR Craiova station was established on May 16th, 1996, yet started to effectively transmit on December 1st, 1998, emission initially destined to the region of Oltenia. Born during a process of ”Europeanization” of Romanian press, as well as of the whole society, TVR Craiova Territorial Station demonstrated, since its appearance in December 1998, that it grants a major interest to the European issue and the social-political implications of an unprecedent period of opening, during which the more than symbolic dissolving of material, mental, psychological and cultural boundaries have been awarded prominent relevance.
