It sheds light on the renewing significance of this initiative, in which there is addressed an area of interference between the habitat in the landscape of hills and plains, but also between the village and town, a special area through the diversity of economical, social and local cultural aspects opened to new horizons of becoming; therefore, the conception and methodology added to the research experience of the rural life, is the one of research of the processuality. In the paper, the innovative scientific spirit is remarkable and the harmonious emulation of the researchers coordinated by Professor Mihai Pop, more so in an unfavorable historical context preceding the outbreak of World War II, which resulted in the discontinuation of the project. The end of this first part announces two important documents signed by Mihai Pop that will be analyzed in a later context.
