Summary/Abstract: The current theme aims the analysis of the legal institution of control in the constitutional law, which refers to the identification of all forms of control mentioned by the Romanian Constitution and the specificity of each of them. The legal institution of control refers to a system of guarantees established to ensure the achievement of the attributions of the public institutions within the limitation stated by the fundamental law. This is the reason why the legislator has detailed the forms of control, with the express mentioning of the means and limits within which it is possible
