Summary/Abstract: Luca Guadagnino’s movie, Call Me by Your Name, which has as literary reference the homonymous novel of André Aciman is one of the most sensitive depictions of universal love translated through the emotions and feelings of a youngster of 17 who reveals himself, discovers his own sexuality through the thrills of the first love in a both visual and musical orchestrated environment that reminds of the platonic love between masters and disciples and of their peripatetic fellowship in the gardens of delight. The aesthetics and erudition of the montage pull it out from the category of the ordinary films, how many movies?like, about homosexuality and turn it into a universal love story.
