Summary/Abstract: For patients with different affections involving progressive disease progression, quality of life becomes an even more central goal of care than for patients for whom recovery is expected. Turner syndrome is the only chromosomal monosomy compatible with life and results from the total or partial absence of the one of the X chromosomes. Both, the evolution of the disease and the therapeutic strategies have an important impact on the quality of life in these patients. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the existence of a relationship between the patients’ lifestyle and the quality of their lives. Questionnaire response showed that out of the total of patients, 67% responded that the disease affects their relationships with those around them, 43% of patients tend to isolate themselves, 50% claim that as the disease progressed, they were forced to make certain changes in their lifestyle, both professionally, socially and personally. Another important thing is the communication and the relationship established between the doctor and the patient, which must be based on devotion, much involvement, tact and professionalism to succeed in opening the door of every soul with which the doctor is related.
