Summary/Abstract: Our article aims to analyze the ontological transformation process of the Elidian and Tournerian characters, as a result of their participation to certain synchronic events. Our analytical endeavor is methodologically supported by the abysmal Jungian analysis. At a first glance, such events seem to be ordinary occurrences, apparently random, lacking consequences in becoming the character. Although camouflaged in the ordinary, they produce profound and disorienting revelations in the ontic situation of the characters. The synchronic events are significant coincidences, with an unwavering transformative finality for the actant. Behind such events, apparently insignificant, lies the subtle weave of the destiny.
