Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to document the properties of lace curtains in the region of Inebolu in terms of technique, decoration, equipments, and composition. In this research, it is studied on 16 lace curtains which are in region of Inebolu. It is written the properties of laces to prepared observation forms and these information are evaluated. It is determined that lace curtains length and breadth measurements are different in terms of their places of usage and it is usually preferred order of connected regular sorted and skipped composition in these curtains. It is used the techniques of chain, crochet, handrail, close loop in lace curtains which is rich in terms of geometrical and herbal decorations. The number of 50-60 and 70 cotton fibers are used as material. Awl is used as tool. It is included vegetative, geometrical, transitive and figurative decoration as a subject in samples of laces. Rose, tulip, flower of chamomile, cherry, leaves and folded branches are included in vegetative decoration. Straight, zigzag, and diagonal figures are included in geometrical decoration. Hearts, ties and tassels are included in transitive decoration. And finally butterfly motifs are included in figurative decorations.
