Summary/Abstract: Using an empirical approach, research seeks to discover how newborn companies attract and retain human capital. The study describes and outlines employees' motivations and the way they help companies record upward trends, making them more profitable by increasing performance and productivity. The article will validate through a quantitative analysis the hypotheses described by Safal Batra in 2017 on a survey of a newborn online business investigating the factors that attract and retain employees. The hypotheses take into account the following factors that motivate employees in newly created firms: introducing employees as partners in the company, creating informal learning opportunities, providing a flexible working environment, and creating opportunities for employee engagements or helping with vital decisions within the company. We will later use these factors to create a motivational portrait of the employees of a newborn company and outline their importance for human capital. The results will conclude by validating hypotheses and outlining different factors involved in personnel retention.
