Summary/Abstract: As a practitioner, then as a coach in the performance volleyball for years, I felt the lack of a training program that combined as simple and effective as possible the technical-tactical, physical and mental training required for any high-level sporting activity. Later in time, after learning and deepening the Tai Chi and Qi Gong oriental techniques, and after I co-opted in my team's staff a specialist of these oriental techniques in the person of Mrs. Mihaela Frai, I realized the beneficial influence which they may have on the average individual, but especially on an athlete in any stage of training.
