Summary/Abstract: This paper examines leadership style and employees’ performance in Nigerian Federal Polytechnic a study of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State. The main objective of this study is to identify the relationship between leadership style and employee’s performance, also to verify the extent to which leadership style has facilitated service delivery at the Nigerian Federal Polytechnics. In achieving these objectives, the researcher relied on use of primary and secondary data which were used to analyse the data gathered. The study observed that a large number of employees make prudent application of leadership in their various work processes. The application of this contributes to the employee’s performance to some extent. The study further identifies that success or failure of organisations depends on leadership style adopted in an organisation.
