Summary/Abstract: This paper presents both pedagogical and ethical issues of the interaction between children with different abilities and animals. There is an official suggestion for terminology change – from “children with special educational needs” to “children with different abilities”. Some of the alternative aspects of the possibilities for pedagogical interaction with animals are presented and discussed in order to develop positive personality qualities in children with different abilities.
