Summary/Abstract: The article presents the differences between multicultural and intercultural perspectives and the challenges which it should face a teacher in another culture, being teacher in another country. Also it is a challenge for the teacher who have “multicultural” pupils to deal with. In the final we present some results gathered in an international project which tried to diagnosis competences of teachers across Europe.
