Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to examine one of the means by which Daniel Pennac (his real name is Pennacchioni), French teacher and writer, tries to help his dunces to escape their condition, to step out of their ignorance, just like he did himself ‒ he was a very poor student. His method is the dictation. We will discuss the way he use it and the results of this approach.
