Summary/Abstract: Violence is a complex, pluridimensional phenomenon, a constant subject of political, sociological and psychological debates. This article is focused on the forms that violence takes at school and on its consequences. We shall discuss especially cases where victims are teachers and we will stand on four literary cases, those of Christian Cogné, Bénédicte Heim, Émilie Sapielak and Alice Vergneau, all teachers and writers. We are talking about autobiographical testimonies of teachers that constantly endure aggressions and humiliations.
