The Competence of Safe Traffic of Pedestrians of Pupils of an Primary School on the Basis of Knowledge

Summary/Abstract: Aims of this research - to determine and estimate knowledge of safe movement of pedestrians of pupils of a primary school, influence of formal education on competence of road safety. In research participated 246 pupils of an elementary school. A method of research - interview. Conclusions of research: 1) knowledge of safe behaviour in the environment of movement does not presume to pass road safely; 2) the majority of participants of research does not know the main sources of dangers in the environment of movement connected with the limited visibility; 3) participants of research too highly estimate safety on a pedestrian crossing, on a crossroads when burns a green signal.
