Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to provide a review of the Islamic leadership model. Taking into consideration the fact that the most important leader in Islam is the Prophet, Muhammad, this paper will analyse the methods used by Muhammad, and their characteristics, as well as some methods of the early Islamic leaders as well. We will try to discover the qualities of a successful leader in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and the tradition of Islam, as the two main sources of Islamic teaching in this paper, and also to present the Islamic model of leadership.
