Summary/Abstract: Like the previous books, the present one, the fourth from Fontes Historiae Daco-Romanae, published in the Romanian Academy Publishing House in 1982 (ed. H. Mihăescu et alii) is very useful to the historians because of the numerous information it contains, authentic sources for the History of the Romanians. This is the reason why this work has recently been introduced on the internet. Just in case this work will be republished in a usual format, the present study refers to the Greek texts excerpted and the Romanian version and corrects some translation inaccuracies, including the main printing errors. Evidently, the rectifications made do not diminish the intrinsic value of this comprehensive anthology.
