Summary/Abstract: This paper studies the formation of the information technologies theory and the influence of modern information technologies on different sides of the social and economic life. The author draws attention to the principal changes in the behavior of key economic actors (consumers, firms, government) under the impact of new technologies and to the specific features in the government economic policy.
