Summary/Abstract: Each of the Christian celebrations have a thick layer of folk tradition that is independent or related to the Christian tradition. Often the folk tradition integrates Christian elements in time. Christian rituals of the different regions preserve and include some local folk traditions. This interrelationship adds to the celebration. The article analizes Easter tradition in this perspective.
