Summary/Abstract: The paper analysis the amended rules for the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of service in the Slovak labour law. Contribution provides an overview of the most important changes in the Labour Code with commentary and readjustment of the Act on cross-border cooperation in posting of employees on perform work in the framework of providing services. Author concludes that even if the new provisions cannot be denied trying to prevent the circumvention of Directive 96/71/EC, ultimately significantly increases the administrative burden on employers, especially as regards the establishment of a contact person in the country of posting. On the contrary, certain provisions, for example subcontract responsibility or agreement on the posting of employee may cause application problems regarding the interpretation of the provisions. On the other hand, new regulation introduces simpler conditions under which employees may have obtained by their rights.
