The instructions on operational work in the years 1945–1989

Summary/Abstract: The instructions on operational work were the basic legal act regulating the operational activity of the UB (Security Office), and later SB (Security Service) officers, and were also the basis for materials for training in this matter. Their content was only and exclusively known to the security apparatus. The instructions bore the highly confidential clause – top secret, and later – secret level industry security clearance. In order to signalise the multi-facetedness of the operational activities, the author lists and characterises the normative acts binding in the years 1945– 1989.
