Summary/Abstract: On the occasion of the centenary of the International Labour Organization (1919) presents the author an analysis of the ILO’s combat against forced labour. Both conventions dealing with forced labour are two of the eight ILO’s fundamental conventions. The author does not limit himself to conventions and recommendations as the central legal instruments, but he pays attention to ILO’s activity in this area in its complexity, including empirical research and other activities. In the conclusion, the author presents both thoughts that the ILO could start dealing with in the future and measures that the Czech Republic should adopt based on the ILO’s work in this field.
