Summary/Abstract: Due to the ongoing conflicts in countries that own (owned) different types of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), the danger of abuse WMD or they destructive elements by terrorist groups is increasing. The paper focuses on the characteristics of CBRN, relevance of CBRN terrorism, preferred types of CBRN materials by terrorist groups as well as the efforts in preventing CBRN terrorist attacks.
