Summary/Abstract: This study aims to present some statistical data concerning the number of live births, deaths and the rate of natural increase in rural Dobruja in the 1930s. It makes use of the statistical yearbooks of Romania published between 1933 and 1940, as well as of studies authored by Dumitru C. Georgescu and Sabin Manuilă, collaborators of Dimitrie Gusti.
