Summary/Abstract: The author of this article examines the ways in which some representatives of the Church, engaged in evangelisation, understand and employ this term. She enquires into its linguistic, theological and popular meanings and analyses the contexts and aspects of its usage as verbal and non-verbal communication strategy in spreading the Good News. She enriches her inquiry by probing into writings of theoreticians and practitioners of evangelisation, published in Agenda Liturgiczna Maryi Niepokalanej in the years 2013-2015 [Liturgical Guide of the Immaculate Mary]. The author investigates in great depth the communicative aspect of evangelisation, verbal and non-verbal means of influencing listeners, modern challenges, multitude of cultures and value systems (often at odds with Christian axiology), need for open and comprehensible language and authentic dialogue. She includes concrete suggestions and recommendations for Christians, as they all are called to evangelise and give witness to their faith.
