Summary/Abstract: The year is 2018, and the music scene in Bulgaria is yearning for 1994. Depression, the Seattle spirit and sound for more than 25 years have been dominated by the musical rock scene in the country. MTV's identity is the reason for several waves of alternative musicians to strive to emulate a past style, finding the club a place for its Seattle regression. The article looks at the rise of the Seattle wave of the Bulgarian rock scene, its development over the years, and explores the reasons for its rise in the background of the decline of the rock scene in Bulgaria.
