Summary/Abstract: The present paper presents the study of the aesthetic structures and values as they are analyzed in Lucian Blaga’s paper „Art and Value” The third volume of the „Trilogy of Values”, that represents the course of History of Culture held by the author at University of Cluj in 1938, and which deals with the issues of aesthetics in a metaphysic vision, in the horizon of mystery and by means of abyssal categories. This dual approach of aesthetics based on two horizons, that of the actual world, and that of mystery, represents Blaga’s innovation, this approach being ignored before. From the themes subject to this approach we can distinguish: the polar values, the accessory values, the tertiary values, arts and genders, the ethnic, Art, Mythology or the metaphysics of values.
