Summary/Abstract: The article looks at the dual quality of food products across the EU. According to law, food products sold in the EU under the same brand and packaging should have the same composition and characteristics. However, many surveys done in Central and Eastern Europe have proven that, in fact, some products differ in ingredients. The author introduces legal background, results of test and proposed legislative actions.
