Summary/Abstract: The decision to apply a method of developing the creativity of preschoolers or pupils must arise from the analysis of the value itself. The particularities of the development of preschoolers or pupils, the specifics of the collectives they are part of are other important variables that intervene in the selection of the method or in the efforts of the didactic staff to identify some adapted versions of it. Our observations on the use of methods of developing creativity in the form described by their authors for all children, regardless of their particularities, highlight the formalism and the impossibility of achieving the purpose for which these methods were conceived. The development of creativity must be part of the continuous instructive and educational process, not only through established methods, but also through specific processes and techniques.
