Summary/Abstract: Norway has an effective and coherent policy on the training of asylum seekers, both minors and adults. The model that Norway promotes ensures equal opportunities for education and at the same time preserves Norwegian specific traditions. The first legislative steps for asylum in Norway were registered 9 years ago. Thus, the Norwegian Immigration Act (2008) lays down general criteria for the recognition of refugees and serves as a legal basis for the resettlement of state-settled applicants.
