Summary/Abstract: Since the 3rd century BC enamel had been a popular decorative technique among Scordisci as much as among other East Celts. This primarily relates to female belts, fibulae and horse harnesses as well as to buttons and junctions. Belt sets usually reached Scordisci from the workshops in the Carpathian basin but some more simple specimens were the products of local craftsmen. The fibulae characteristic of the ’Zemun’ type were local products, most probably from the workshops in the eastern Srem. They were present in the territories of Scordisci and towards the east as far as the territories of Daco-Getae. [...]
